Dainichi (Osaka, Japan) has specialized in designing and manufacturing robust, heavy-duty lathes for over 80 years. Dainichi CNC Lathes are well known for their weight and part size capacities. The ultra-rigid, one-piece bed is engineered and constructed to prevent vibration and deformation during heavy machining.
Double walled and ribbed monocast bed construction ensures heavy-duty and high precision turning for a long life.
Low-speed with high torque turning can be performed with the heavy-duty headstock featuring 2-step gear change.
Hand controls are conveniently located in the same position as in conventional lathes, so operators can use handles overlooking the tool nose.
Tailstock body features a 1500 kgs load capacity with an MT No. 5 center.
